On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November the Woodwork 2.0 box in Ghezzano hosts the first edition of the Coppa Lignum, an individual functional fitness competition.
Entry is direct, with no online qualifiers, and there are three divisions for men and women: Beginner, Regular and Elite, 76 spots in total. The standards for each division are in the rulebook (Italian only).
Every athlete takes on five workouts, three on Saturday and two on Sunday. There are no finals: the leaderboard is built on the results of the whole weekend. Workouts, standards and scoring are released on the @coppalignum Instagram profile.
Registration is on Judge Rules (€95) until 31 October or until spots run out. Spectators are welcome: come and cheer.
